BTS 2025 Member Spotlights: Where Are They Now?

The boys are back—but each with a unique journey to share. From emotional reflections to bold solo moves, BTS members are shining in their own orbits while gearing up for their group return.

Let’s take a closer look at what each member is doing individually, and how it’s all leading into BTS’s most anticipated comeback yet.

🐹 Jin – The Heart of BTS

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Grateful, hilarious, emotional

"I missed everyone. Even the fights."

Jin’s post-military life has been all love. His new mini-series variety show, rumored to be called “Seokjin’s Starry Nights,” will explore cooking, late-night talks, and reconnecting with fans. He’s also preparing a short photo memoir titled The Other Side of the Uniform.

📝 Next project: A surprise collab with a K-drama OST.

🐿️ j-hope – The Evolution of Hope

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Recharged and experimental

J-Hope’s post-service era is electric. He dropped two fresh singles—“Killin’ It Girl” and “Sweet Dreams”—blending R&B, hip-hop, and soul. His fashion sense? Streetwear luxe. His dance style? Mature and fluid.

🎧 Rumor: A collab album with Western artists is in the works.

🐱 SUGA – Silent Strength, Loud Art

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Healing in progress

SUGA joined the July 1 livestream but kept things low-key. Fans noticed a scar on his hand, and though BigHit hasn’t issued a statement, SUGA was calm, smiling, and said:

“I missed performing. I missed you.”

He’s expected to restart his Agust D concert series and may launch a mini film project showcasing his creative journey.

💰 Fun fact: He’s also entering sports management as a stakeholder in a US MLB team.

🐨 RM – The Quiet Philosopher

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Reflective, artistic

Namjoon has been everywhere and nowhere—a private intellectual with global influence. He’s seen at museums, cafés, and climate events.

“This next BTS album is going to be our most truthful yet.”

He’s writing again, possibly for a follow-up to Indigo or a poetry-essay hybrid.

🖼️ Look out for: His art x music docu-collab with MoMA in fall.

🐥 Jimin – Angel in Recovery

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Soft, strong, and spiritual

Jimin is healing from an ankle injury but appeared during the reunion live. He’s working on an emotional, slow-tempo R&B EP, inspired by journaling, meditation, and his time in the service.

🌼 Quotes from Jimin’s recent Vlive:

“I learned to forgive myself during enlistment.” “It’s okay to grow slower than others.”

👟 Also: PUMA is relaunching a Jimin x BTS line.

🐰 Jungkook – Fashion King, Studio Junkie

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Energetic and global

Jungkook is currently the Global Creative Partner for Calvin Klein and has shot two viral campaigns this month. He’s also collaborating with multiple producers for a high-energy EDM-infused solo comeback.

🎬 Teased project: A short film titled “GOLDEN: Behind the Lights”

💥 Fun fact: Jungkook ranked #1 in TikTok artist mentions without even having a TikTok account.

🐻 V (Taehyung) – The Soulful Star

Military Status: Completed
Mood: Emotional and inspired

From CELINE in Paris to late-night confessions, Taehyung is showing his rawest side. He told fans:

“I still wake up at small noises. But art helps.”

V is planning a second solo album, likely a continuation of Layover’s jazz-soul vibe. He's also curating an art photography book based on his time in France.

🎥 Acting whispers? He’s rumored to star in a romantic period K-drama later this year.

🌍 The Bigger Picture: 7 Stories, 1 Legacy

As each member shines solo, the world gets to see the depth of their growth, pain, and power. But soon, these seven roads will reunite for the next BTS chapter.

So whether you’re vibing with J-Hope’s rhythm, crying with Jimin’s healing, or admiring RM’s quiet strength—know this:
The best is still to come.
