Career
Jungkook auditioned for the television talent programme 'Superstar K' at the age of 13 but was turned down. Fortunately, on his way home, he received offers from eight other talent agencies. Big Hit Entertainment quickly picked him up. Jungkook began dancing at the age of 14 with Movement Lifestyle. He joined BTS in 2013 and recorded his first song 'No More Dream' for the album '2 Cool 4 Skool'. Jungkook and his bandmates thereafter went on to record numerous hit albums and songs. The band has also performed several stage concerts and travelled to different countries.
The band's success may be seen in the band's large fan base and international popularity. It should be noted that the boy band has received a number of honours to date. To mention a few, it has received the Melon Music Award, Golden Disk Award, Seoul Music Award, and Bonsang Award.
In terms of solo endeavours, Jungkook teamed with other Korean artists as well as political figures on the song 'One Dream One Korea.' Jungkook was born on September 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea as Jeon Jeong-guk. He went to Baek Yang Middle School and the Seoul School of Performing Arts. The ambitious musician graduated in February 2017. Jungkook is also reputed to be an excellent chef. Among his other interests include sketching and playing sports, particularly soccer. Jungkook is currently living with his father, mother, and older brother Jung Hyun. Aside from that, not much is known about the singer's family.
