J-Hope, born Jung Ho-Seok, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and dancer. He is best known as a member of the boy band Bangtan Boys.

J-Hope was discovered by Big Hit Entertainment representatives in 2010 during large national castings. After a few months, he and the other selected members signed their first contract for pre-debuts. He later joined Bangtan Boys as its first trainee before becoming an official member of the band in June 2013. Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are the other members of the band.
J-hope made his debut in 2013 with the track "No More Dream," which was included on the Bangtan Boys' first album, '2 Cool 4 Skool.' Since then, the South Korean singer and his band members have produced multiple studio albums such as 'Youth,' 'Wake Up,' 'Wings,' and 'Dark & Wild,' as well as various mini-albums such as 'Love Yourself: Her,' 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life' (Part 1 & 2), and 'O!
