BTS- THE UNTOLD JOURNEY
This group was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. They were known as Bangtan Boys who consisted of seven members. Their stage names were RM, JIN, SUGA, J-HOPE, JIMIN, V and JUNGKOOK.
These boys came from small districts of Seoul and they were completely strangers to each other. They met each other and they formed a very pure and selfless friendship. They faced their difficulties together and they were always united as one. They started their journey together with the help of their staffs and their company; they were able to make their own place in the world of music. Furthermore, their lyrics often focused on personal and social commentary. They even conveyed the message on mental health, troubles of school-age youth and, coming of age, loss, the journey towards loving oneself, and individualism.
It was also noted that many people recognized BTS. They felt connected to BTS through their songs and the message they conveyed. They debuted with their single albums such as 2 cool 4 skool. They released their first Korean-language studio album, Dark and Wild and Japanese-language studio album, Wake Up, in 2014.
The group's second Korean studio album, Wings (2016), was their first album to sell one million copies in South Korea. By 2017, BTS crossed into the global music market, leading the Korean Wave into the United States and breaking numerous sales records. They became the first Korean group to receive a certification from the Recording Industry Association of America RIAA) for their single "Mic Drop”.
They were on top of the US Billboard 200 with their studio album Love Yourself: Tear (2018). BTS became one of the few groups to earn four US number-one albums in less than two years, and Love Yourself: Answer (2018) was the first Korean album certified Platinum by the RIAA. In 2020, BTS became the first South Korean Boys to reach number one on the Billboard Global 200 and US Billboard Hot 100 with their Grammy-nominated single "Dynamite". Their follow-up releases "Savage Love", "Life Goes On", "Butter", and "Permission to Dance" made BTS the fastest act to accumulate five US number-one singles since Michael Jackson.
In a way, they were able to break through all the stereotypes and they were helping more people to love yourself instead of losing yourself to someone else. BTS earned respect, love and care from their fandom ARMY. Their company treat them very well and due to the support of their families, their company, their fandom and BTS themselves, they were able to achieve many things during the past few years. They created their own identity and they even participated in reality shows. They did Bon Voyage until season 4 and they have two seasons of BTS in the Soop. In these shows, they did not just attract more army but they showed who they really are besides their stage names.
They showed us their talents, their aims in their lives, their passion for music, their love for army and their BTS members. They showed us their individuality and they took part in several activities to enjoy themselves and to show their selfless love for Army. Overall, we can deduce that with the support of everyone, BTS will continue to break new records and they will be always there to support us through their music during our hardships.
I know I have a lot to say about our boys but sometimes the feelings we have for them cannot express all the things we want to say about them. They are just incredible and their beauty mesmerizes us, their selfless love for ARMY have no bounds. During their award ceremony, they always dedicate the award to ARMY, their FAMILY, STAFFS and BIG HIT. Therefore, one thing is for sure that even though they have become successful and famous, they are still down to earth. Because they know what they have gone through and once the situation was deteriorated that they were about to disband due to insufficient money.
Nevertheless, they are still here as our idols, our kings, the source of our inspiration, the dream of every army. Even though most of us have, biases but a lot among us definitely have BTS as their bias wreckers. Because they once told us that, they were only seven but they have us now. Moreover, BTS and ARMY are one as they both care for each other. Therefore, it is better to respect and love all the seven members equally because they will never like it even you love only one of the members and you hate the other one.
